Improving the health status of children and Mother

Improving the health status of children and mother in six union councils of district Quetta and Qila Abdullah is the project of CPD funded by Save the Children UK, the main activities,  formation of Village health committees, Situation Analysis and KAP survey on MNCH issues in Balochistan, Strengthening MNCH service delivery at FLCF, provision of  services at BHU/RHC, revitalization of primary healthcare facilities with required essential medical equipments, supplies and services, Support DOH in provision of Immunization service delivery and cold chain maintenance at primary facilities, mobilization of community to support MNCH initiatives; formation of village health committees, formation of community-based alert evacuation system, health fair at UC, refresher training of LHWs on IMNCI, promotion of exclusive breast feeding and lactation management, nutritional surveillance and growth monitoring, refresher training of HCWs (MO,FMO,LHV) on Communication skills, IMNCI, Malnutrition management and Neonatal Resuscitation,  policy dialogue with stakeholders and policy-makers on school health promotion, supporting MOH in policy formulation and devising implementation strategies through advocacy based on action research on inadequately-addressed health issues in MNCH
